Thanks for that post. I’ve been looking for a ray of hope, despite what some of the experts on here have been saying.

Michael Medved had throat cancer and came back after treatment. I’m sure Rush will get the best treatment available. Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer also beat throat cancer.

I feel so helpless! I think about the millions of people he has helped!
I have a friend who has been living with stage IV lung cancer for over a year now. While her doctors say it is terminal, she is doing well under her current course of treatment, and I hope that continues for as long as possible.
Much of it depends on the specific cancer, and the genetics of the patient. I hope Rush is one of those who can be saved.
That must be wonderful for all his family and friends.
My mother did NOT have a recurrence of her cancer.
I think that he was saying, in one way or another, is that we as his audience, are a part of his family and friends.

Before you came along few people knew the meaning of conservatism or understood the relationship between who governs and how much money they take home each week. You’ve been the light of truth that disinfects corruption and reveals the difference between given reasons and real reasons from those that seek to pull the wool over the eyes of the “rubes” in fly over country. You convinced us that we can do something about the snake oil salesmen and conventional wisdom “experts” who attempt to confuse and discourage. Your message prompted a whole new industry of like minded shows that echo or enhance your basic message and lend support to the common man. Be assured that there’s no going back and that your legacy will live on long after our generation has passed. God bless you, Rush.
None of the cancer survivors I know missed work unless they had to-they credit that, right after God and friends for being alive-also my employer and best friend was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor some years ago and told to go fishing because he had mere months-instead he kept working and operating the business-he and I had lunch and did the next week’s bids at my place with another friend and contractor one Friday afternoon-my employer died in his sleep at home that Sunday night-after living and working for 5 years after being told he would not-so one size does not fit all-I don’t see Rush sitting at home waiting to die, either...
Look at RBG-work has got to be keeping her going-the thrill of striving to screw her conservative colleagues on the court is her custom-designed therapy...
Like so many of us, I’m stunned by the news. It was great to hear Rush say that his belief in Jesus Christ is strong. I’m reaching out to all of you to keep Rush in our prayers daily. When you have a few minutes of thought, say a prayer for him. I’m not preaching, just encouraging us to use the greatest weapon that God’s given us -— Prayer!
Trump just opened up experimental treatments to EVERYONE if you sign a waver!!! These treatment has been EXTREMELY successful but of course the red tape keeps them off the market!!! Rush has enough money to pay for it and I am quite sure he would sign the waver!!!
Um...I think he considers his listeners his “friends”....what’s he going to di? Mope around the house or golf every day? Doesn’t sound like Rush.
