But there were so many loopholes that the top bracket rarely paid over 10-20%
That was the deal when they truly (and for the last time, sadly) overhauled the tax system. The loopholes disappeared — BY AND LARGE — and the brackets reduced.
The only people who got hit by the 95% tax bracket were people on “The Twilight Zone” who asked a genie for a million dollars.

Yep - it officializes that they want Bernie to be gone....he’s the only honest one in the bunch and makes no bones about what he is.
Hate to break it to Matthews but this is going to happen if ANY democrat wins.
