No place where I live has them either. But then again, they never had them anyway let alone ever hearing about them..........LOL!
Haven’t seen a can of decent bat soup in weeks.
Where the heck do they get 60 in the US from? CDC website says 14????
There are a lot of people who are going to be wondering what to do with all of the cans of soup and rolls of toilet paper when this blows over.
The only thing I bought that I don’t plan on using is a water purifier. It will go in our BUG OUT kit and if we never use it, great.
We already have a two week emergency food box (and canned water) but since these are mostly freeze dried food it is only for a true emergency
No one is forcing anyone to do anything at this point in time. I will be overjoyed if my preparation are not needed.
Yes, you supplied “N Ga” in your original post. I actually considered congratulating your original post for supplying location in order to remind others to supply location. :)
However, your subsequent post did NOT supply location. Neither did your subsequent post refer to your original post with the location. People have to realize need to realize that threads are not read by author. They are read sequentially.
When a thread could supply regional information of importance, people should supply location on each post. On a post which replies to “1”, there is not inducement to go searching back for any prior posts where extra information might reside.
Thanks for supplying the information on your original post. That actually relieved me since I am in Arizona. In Phoenix, masks are hard to find in my area, but there is no indication of a run on groceries.
This is a GREAT observation!
Prudent folks have done just that.
Everyone else? Well, they’re rolling the dice.
What does it hurt to have extra of items you/your family will use/eat/need, anyhow?
Big price drops coming after lots of people realize there is no need to go to the store, as they now have enough stuff to last them weeks or months.
Don’t bother with the non-perishables. Unlike a snowstorm, the power system will probably stay on.

To be clear: stock up, but go ahead and get frozen food, etc.
“A person can never have too much toilet paper.”
Being without is a really crappy proposition!
Folks in Frontier House TV series learned that — https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier_House
What the hell do some foreign journalists know about store shelves in the USA. STFU Daily Mail.
I don’t fear the virus. I AM concerned about the panic.
They are full of crapola. I don’t trust their reporting.
No panic here...but can you answer this?
Why have the governments of ALL countries affected taken extreme steps to stop its spread?
Why did the US ban flights from China? Why is Italy cutting off entire towns to stop its spread? Why did Japan close all schools for a month? Why has Israel essentially shut down travel?
Understand that countries are doing things that are unprecedented in modern times to try and stop this. If it's NOT a big deal why are they essentially shutting down their economies (China, South Korea, Japan etc) to try and deal with this?
Just answer the question...WHY are government treating it LIKE it's extremely dangerous IF it's no worse than the flu?
Yep!
I went Wednesday to Costco to do my usual shopping and while the meat was fine other items like canned goods/rice was noticeably less.
I’m saving money and not stockpiling because the idiots selling down the market are creating a wonderful buying opportunity.
