On the surface these gaffes are hilarious. Having watched my my aging mother deal with the onset of dementia, I see warning signs. Joe really needs to see a doctor. Having dementia or Alzheimers usually does not end well for the patient. Given the gravity of the presidential office, we need someone of sound mind. IMHO, Joe Biden is not fit for office.

Remember when the press ridiculed Dan Quayle for misspelling potato?

And he actually didn't. He rang the bell at a Spelling Bee when a student failed to spell what was written on the card... which was his job as judge. The spelling on the card had "potatoe" as an accepted alternate spelling (older form), and when the kid didn't add the "e", Quayle rang the bell. The mistaken bell was understandable, the kid wasn't removed from the Bee, and yet the MSM made a lifetime propaganda point against a sitting Vice President.
