When I was young, the parents fed their children. I fed mine. We had a table where we sat and eat at each meal time. Morning and evening during the week and morning, noon, and evening on the weekend.
Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society did a fine job of destroying that model.
Sadly most of these youts are in single parent or no parent (aka friends or grandparent led homes).
