There is NO PATENT on it. It is a generic drug. Nobody is going to make money if people get cured by it.
Forgetting the minimal cost, would one take it as a prophylactic indefinitely? For anti-malarials, the visit into malaria-infested country is usually somewhat limited in duration, as I understand it.
I think it’s WORSE than that. The Deep State FDA is every bit as besotted with Trump Derangement Syndrome as the most rabid sign carrying democRAT. So the FDA will use every hook, crook or dodge to hide any known Covid-19 palliatives, and demand that the whole medical/innoculation wheel be reinvented before anything gets approved. They’ve got to make this thing reach until October 31. JMHO

It sounds like it is a multi-virus killer and probably more effective than the dangerous flu shots people are getting. Nobody would have to wait until they are on their deathbed to take them. That’s silly. They gave them to us like M&M’s in Southeast Asia.

You’ve got that right. The CDC has been sitting on this treatment, knowing that Chloroquine has anti-viral fighting capabilities for at least fourteen years. What have they been spending their time on - an example is trying to sell gun control as a health issue. How many viral outbreaks and how many dead bodies have we sustained in that time? Trust me, behind it all are money grubbing liberal soulless bastards and totalitarian world globalists seeking control over humanity.

Chloroquine may be better to take than wait for a vaccine, Pop a pill and don’t wait for a vaccine.

Not sure of the required dosage over time for it to act as a preventative. I’ve read numerous reports saying that has been shown to be effective with several of the worst previous Coronavirus’ but, none of the articles had that detail.

I’d only take it as a prophylactic if I came into close contact with an infected individual and then only for a short period. As far as duration goes, MILLIONS of American and allied soldiers took this med as a prophylactic for the duration of their one-year tour of duty in Vietnam.
I think the standard duration as a treatment for Corvid-19 is a 6-day course.
