Now we know why he is so authoritarian, when the president wants positive aspects of Chloroquin presented, fauci is in the peer testing hold out group, letting people die rather than abandon absolute scientific method.As if hope is a bad thing. The hope is NOT false. NYC doctors have been prescribing Chloroquin paired with Azithromyecin for weeks now, and it works.Fauci could care less.

Doctors are prescribing it anyway, but for the the wider medical community and the general public, a disclaimer is required: this hasn't been fully tested, so you do prescribe or take it at your own risk.

I don't suppose there's much love between Fauci and Trump either way, but there is some logic and sense to a "good cop, bad cop" routine when it comes to public safety - somebody to raise hope, somebody to warn people against being careless or complacent.

The FDC is used to deciding who will be enriched and who will not.
