He was a true help in Congress.
Dear God, please be with Toms family and friends at this time.
Amen

"Senator Tom Corburn passed away today after battling cancer for years after stepping down as a United States Senator from the state of Oklahoma." Would be nice if they spelled his name correctly in the first sentence. Thankfully, no one reads the articles /joking

If you flew on business and lived in the Tulsa area you no doubt encountered Tom making his weekly Friday night connection into the Tulsa Airport.
Many times he’d spend the delays talking with us on the issues of the day in the airport waiting lounges. I can recall at least a dozen such encounters.
He had his world view, but he was a representative of his constituents, and a truly honest and well grounded statesman.

He was a strong advocate of term limits and his leadership was certainly missed when he left congress.

A shame he couldn’t have had RBG’s doc and treatment.

Dr. Coburn will be remembered by many around the country for his work in Congress, but in Oklahoma, he will be remembered as a physician, a Sunday School teacher, and a mentor, he said. He delivered over 4,000 babies and cared for thousands of moms in Muskogee. His greatest joy was his wife Carolyn and his daughters Callie, Katie, and Sarah and their families. Cindy and I pray for the Coburn family as they walk through this incredibly hard journey. They have lost a husband, father, and grandfather; we have lost a friend and a leader.RIP. Almost a oxymoron these days, but a good Senator.

Wonder if he skipped follow up Lupron treatments and PSA checks.
Follow-up radiation is also a good idea.

Good man, go with God Tom

Was the late Sen. Corbin, a man a rockhard principle, just another grandstander?
