Silver lining. A big one.
Key word is “additional.” The quotas for 2020 were set months ago. Most of the guest workers are already here.
Every Monday, the Chief of the US Border Patrol (Rodney Scott) provides an update on his twitter account. We have edged up to a rate of about 5 miles per week (a mile per weekday), the last few weeks. Here is the last report, as of 27 March (each report closes out on Friday, and is published the following Monday):
More contracts continue to be awarded, and more of the previously awarded contracts are starting work (breaking ground) as the weeks pass, so our rate should continue to speed up through the end of the year, as more and more crews are working simultaneously.
At CPAC a few weeks ago, Jared Kushner (who is monitoring/managing the effort for the President) said that by the end of this month (April) he expected that we would achieve the average rate of 7 miles per week (a true mile per day average).
I would expect the rate to increase past that point, as it would seem that we are on track for more starts than completions this year, because the amount of money this year (~$12 billion) is so much more than prior years.
Next is H1B ad other visa holders, cancel existing visas. Give the 30mdays to leave.
Yay! Way overdue, you codependent sympathizers with misplaced “compassion” for alien invaders . . . !
All of that shelter and hospital close quarters risk information is irrelevant.
Mexico has literally 100’s if not 1000’s of square miles of open desert; they can set up tents and triage centers there!
Keep it locked.
Thank you, DJT.
Good!
I have a feeling that they don't realize even many Dems would rather lock them all out now as it might affect their own personal well-being in a significant way...when all else fails, selfishness can somethings have a good effect...
No me rechaces hermano...
Sorry - but you be a danger to me now - shooo! Shoo! Stay away!
