News Flash - The United States Postal Service will continue to pick up and deliver mail as scheduled on April 10, 2020.
And since you elude to inside information, you must know that the preferred method for delivering the checks, is via direct deposit into the recipients bank account!

I do know that people have already received the $1200 (fact). Forgot it was direct deposit, point was, people already receiving the money. Markets closed, thought USPS closed. My bad.

hey when i was a kid we did not get mail delivered on Good Friday between 12-3. I don’t think they do that anymore.

The magic of electronic transfers...I expect ours to just pop into the checking account before long because while I pay any owed taxes by physical check, I have refunds direct-deposited....just like our SS “checks”.
BTW - Trump’s tax cuts made a $900 positive difference for us. so I had to change withholding to get closer to the net-sum-zero end of year place I try to maintain.
