Pelosi does not make news.... she repeats it. Look at some of her recent outlandish statements about the President and watch them moving forward.
The news media comes up with some extreme talking point about Trump...
He is a racist who wants all black people to die or some other ridiculous and completely unsubstantiated claim.
Within a day or two, Pelosi will stand in front of a microphone and repeat the lie. The media then goes into a frenzy with “Pelosi accuses the President of racism” headline when in fact, she simply repeated what some other moron said on one of the networks that they did not cover.
Pelosi rarely makes news. She parrots the news.

Ummm- where did he say anything about injecting Lysol into lungs? Listen to the videos again- He was talking about a disinfectant, UV light is a disinfectant- he was on the subject of sunlight, and UV light, and even mentioned during that segment that UV light can penetrate skin, and he was musing whether it could be injected somehow into the lungs to do it’s magic there too-
The media are scum- They know damn well he wasn’t talking about injecting Lysol into one’s lungs- yet they pounced on this and the ‘New Truth” is that ‘President Trump said for people to inject Lysol into their lungs”- and now they will NEVER let this drop- they will mention it every time they can- in their ‘President Trump is deranged and should be removed from office’ agenda

The idea ISNT so far fetched. Of course it shouldnt be done with Lysol, and listening to him I didnt take that as such. There is a procedure called lung lavage where basically what is he mentioned is done. There is solution injected in the lungs to break up secretions and then the solution is suctioned out. A double lumen endotracheal tube is placed in the pts trachea where one lumen goes down each lung. While one lung is “worked on” the other lung is ventilated. And then after one lung has been lavaged it is now ventilated while other is lavaged. The idea isnt so far fetched and is part of something called pulmonary toilet for certain patients.

President Trump DID NOT SAY, "Inject lysol into your lungs".
One said something, the other axed a question, and never, suggested that injection of lysol into your lungs was a solution.
Get real with your comparisons.
I don’t mind people making fun of him for thinking that would be a possible treatment.
But the news media is lying about what he said, and those lies, like Pelosi’s lies, might actually make people think they should ingest bleach (not lysol).
I do hope that every person working this is brainstorming the crap out of it, and that at least ONE person seriously asks the question, why can’t we use alcohol or bleach on the infection”. I mean, the answer is easy, but there are always questions nobody asks, that turn out to be important, and you never know which ones they are.
One of my real-life jobs is essentially to ask the stupid questions, because 1 out of 10 times, it turns out we just didn’t THINK about something, and nobody cares about the 9 out of 10 times they have to give an obvious answer about why the idea is stupid.
TOo many people are afraid to ask questions because they are afraid to look stupid. I don’t mind, and it makes me valuable.

Because while there will not be a single doctor who will actually tell their patients to inject bleach, there are a LARGE NUMBER of doctors who think HCQ is doing good, and yet governors without a clue are banning it because Trump thought it might work.
I just found out Virginia doesn’t allow it, and also isn’t allowing plasma therapy; we have someone dying right now and people are trying to get the government to allow a shipment of plasma from new york to possibly save the life.

ANd it is so much easier just to use soap and water, which destroys the fatty layer protecting the virus, and then the virus quickly deteriorates.
I am using UVC in my air ducts now, mostly for mold/mildew on the coils, but it will also tend to destroy any virus that manages to get aeresolized.

Other than that, sure, they are not twisting his words.
He had a stupid idea, and said the doctors should look into it. And I imagine the doctors spent the 3 seconds it needed, and dismissed it, and you won’t hear it again.
I often wondered what the first meeting was like when somebody walked into the room and said “You know, I bet we could fix cancer if we just injected you with poison”.
