Notice how it is now called “sexual assault”?
I’m pretty sure in many (most?) jurisdictions this is called rape.
To: Steven W.
In prior elections, that add would leave a major skid mark.

Im pretty sure in many (most?) jurisdictions this is called rape.If you sexually molest anyone to the point of penetration, which is what is alleged, then that is definitely rape. No other word accurately describes what Biden is accused of here and everyone should start using that descriptor.

I watched the interview and reached an entirely different conclusion than many others on the right. I thought Mika did an excellent job. She asked tough questions and didn't let Biden off. On the other hand, I think Biden made several good points. I'm not sure he even knows where government personnel records are archived—which shouldn't be surprising—and his point about who will do the search is valid. I doubt most Republicans or Democrats want their private documents and negotiations opened up to political scrutiny, and I think it's normal senate practice to have these documents archived and sealed—for members of both parties.
That said, I think the media has an obligation to do investigative reporting. They should look into the sexual assault allegations and do everything possible to provide us as much factual information as possible. In this area, the media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) are quite hypocritical. They have not treated this the same way as the Kavanaugh allegations, and there was apparently far less corroborating evidence in that case than this one.
Sexual harassment claims are a very tough area of the law in my opinion. It often comes down to he said, she said. Even if Tara Reade filed an accusation in the 1990s, it still doesn't prove the assault occurred. Regardless, it's too late for criminal charges. This is why the media should attempt to uncover as much information as possible so that voters can make truly informed decisions when we decide who we want to lead the country.

They should not ignore these allegations, but in the long run, they have to put a lot more attention on Biden’s statement about “China is not competition for us” while at the same time the Chinese appear to given his son a sweetheart deal because his daddy was Veep. Link Biden with with the Chinese. That will influence more voters than this.

Trump’s team either (1) Thinks Biden is the nominee, regardless or (2) Thinks whoever the D’s replace him with is a weaker candidate.
To: ModelBreaker
Keep in mind that ALL Democrats have rallied around Biden. If Biden drops out, most likely the candidate who replaces his had also been a conspirator to cove up the rape. For ALL Democrats, the Party (and Power) comes first.

Democrats will say and do
anything for power.
But what would anyone expect from a political party that has championed every evil from slavery and the ku klux klan to voter fraud, illegal immigration, coup d'état, sexual perversion, abortion, and infanticide?
Truth for its own sake? Certainly not!
