In California, 64% of the people who can do retire at the early age of 55. If you are a top earner, you will have no problem at that age. Governor Newsom receives the highest salary currently being accepted in the State of California government. He and his wife reported $1.2 million last year alone, about $800 thousand coming from his wineries. He is 52 year old. Should he be culled? He qualifies.
