I got mine done in late March. Why delay it so long?

Don't know about further delays but I appreciated engaging into Great Lent and Holy Week without the distraction of tax filing, for the first time ever.

Of course there were more serious distractions.

At zero percent interest, I can’t really see much advantage to this. Am I missing something?

Why tax us at all, anymore??

We’ll never pay off what is owed already, so what the hell to we have to lose by printing more Benjamins with a zillion zeros on them!?

/Sarc ?? maybe

Mr President. Some have got something better. Get rid of the income tax altogether and go to a national retail sales tax.

Collected ONCE at the cash register like those with state sales tax pay.

They are incredibly lazy.

They're incredibly idiots too.

I always pay in. Refunds, you are simply giving the Federal Gov't an interest-free loan.

If you are going to HR Block you are not getting an expert. You are better off reading the IRS publications and doing it yourself. The tax laws have truly been simplified for much of middle america.
ALSO, there are lots of things you can find out about the finer points on the internet and various forums.
I am an accounting expert and my state has issued me a license that says as much.

I did mine for decades, but one year, after my stepdaughter died, I had to deal with liquidating her estate. I took my documents to HR Block and let them handle it. For the past 5 years I have gone to Block. I doubt I would be able to do it myself now.
