What qualifications does Travis have?
Was he a police officer?
Was he FBI?

It’s really unclear what exactly happened at the front of the truck. The video (which already wasn’t great) was blocked during that whole time. As for Arbery not slowing down, adrenaline can make somebody move just as fast after getting shot. It isn’t until they realize they’ve been shot that they start feeling it. Or until the blood pressure drops so low that they physically can’t continue. I’m guessing the trial will have a lot of expert testimony around which shot hit where and when. Probably isn’t important to the end result of the jury decision, but details like that tend to be brought up so it looks like your side knows exactly what happened.

If Arbery had been exercising his 2nd amendment rights he could have defended himself from a distance and might still be alive.
No way this was murder when the guy is standing there with his gun and you see the guy run up to the backl of the truck, run around the truck, and then attacks the guy holding the gun. If Arbery was in fear then why run to them .
How on earth can you charge the guy filming murder too

HUH have you seen the video. He clearly run to the truck runs around the truck and attacks the guy with the gun. The gun went off when they were wrestling with the gun .
I know the media is trying to sell it but are you saying the guy runs up to a guy holding a gun gets shot then attacks said guy?
What a load of crap if he felt in danger why run to the truck and attack the guy holding a gun?

Travis is standing in the middle of the street, Arbery jogs around the truck, to the right on the shoulder, probably on the grass.
Travis moves from middle of the street to front of the truck to stop arbery from continuing on
they trapped him twice already, and arbery went around them, twice
Shot 1 is fired, we see Arbery pounding on travis, they both go off camera to the left on the left side of the street, shot two is fired.
Both move onto the street and Arbery is trying to take or push the gun away in self defense, it is hard to tell but travis fires the third and fatal shot. Arbery falls down to the ground, dead.
That is what the jury is going to see

Nobody has said what he does for a living, if he does anything where he receives a paycheck for.
In my opinion, the case boils down to these basic questions:
1. When Greg McMichael saw Ahmaud Arbery running down the street, what crime did he think Arbery had committed?
2. What probably cause did McMichael have to believe that Arbery had committed said crime?
3. Did that probable cause rise to the level, or meet the standard, to enable the McMichaels to attempt a citizens arrest?
Those 3 questions have to be answered and that hurdle cleared before they can use the “attempting a citizen’s arrest” defense to gain an acquittal.
Remember, if the defense brings Greg McMichaels police experience into the trial, the prosecution can show that McMichaels was not an exemplary policeman, and in fact skipped training in violence de-escalation.
So far, the witnesses and the videos released so far, paint the following picture:
The McMichaels attempted at least twice to cut Arbery off with their vehicle. William Bryan attempted at least once to cut Arbery off with his vehicle.
Again, just an opinion, but of the hurdle of probable cause for a citizens arrest is not met, these three guys will be convicted. There is pretty good video evidence that Arbery had been chased by these vehicles for at least 4 minutes.
The prosecution can pretty easily argue that when Arbery approached the truck and ran around the right side, away from the side Travis McMichael was on, that he was executing a last ditched effort to get away. When he saw Travis McMichael coming at him around the front of the truck, he made a last ditched effort to save his life by trying to take the shotgun away before he was shot.
Some clues to watch for will be if the police department personnel are reprimanded/punished for giving McMichaels number to the homeowner. That should not have happened.
There is no probable cause for manslaughter either.

what the hell are you talking about ? Arbery ran up to the truck went to the right side of iut ran around to the left and assaulted the guy. The shots went off after. Have you actually watched the recording or spewing the media?

If you are afraid then you do not run up to the truck with a guy who has a gun and then assault him

WTH are you on? Arbery is seen running towards the truck and of you are in fear then why do you run towards a man with a gun?
2 . the shot goes off once Arbery has his hands on the barrel.
3.The recording clearly shows Arbery running not only to the truck but running towards the man with the gun.
