What are the gun laws like in the Twin Cities? Can the shop owners protect their property?
Why don’t they do anything?
He should declare it a gun-free zone while he’s at it.
Since when was ‘hiding in our homes’ considered a bad thing by these dictator wannabes? I thought it was their official government dictate these days.
You summed it up, FRiend!
Time to start testing out high tech riot control...or should I say criminal control.
Never mind the gun laws in the Twin Cities.
The 2A— (see: “shall not be abridged”) says they certainly can.
Smackdown! This one will be a peaceful protest. Gov. Abbott not gonna tolerate no foolishness, & they know it. The contrast will be noteworthy— but will the media notice?
This is the Fall of Rome 2
“abridged”? Interesting, I’ve never seen that version.
Aaaannnd, Ben Crump decrees Murder in the 3rd (depraved disregard for life) not good enough, demands 1st Degree charge for Derek Chauvin.
That’s essentially an extortionary quid pro quo. It’s intended to keep the rabble roused & make sure the rioting continues until the Minneapolis prosecutor caves.
He also demands the other 3 cops be charged— and then he’ll whine THOSE charges aren’t severe enough.
We’ve seen this script before, wrt Travon/ Zimmerman.
I suspect the vast majority of the residents of the area where the riot is occurring don't appreciate rioting nor do they appreciate heavy handed, probably murderous conduct by police that leads to riots. Given the news that Mr. Floyd worked with the police office that apparently killed him and they almost certainly knew each other adds another dimension to the situation.
The rioters are largely Antifa types, many are unlikely to live in the neighborhood at all. That's why they destroyed so many businesses and schools which are owned and operated by local African Americans.
No need for the police to go on strike, they haven't been doing much useful anyway in the affected areas.
I thought they were under orders to stay at home because of the Corona virus?
What gives.
MN statutes are clear and simple.
The intentional taking of the life of another is not authorized by section 609.06, except when necessary in resisting or preventing an offense which the actor reasonably believes exposes the actor or another to great bodily harm or death, or preventing the commission of a felony in the actor’s place of abode.

Infringed.
Sorry! Symptom of dementedia due to early oldtimers.
Women.
“Buttigieg”
wow! there’s a name i haven’t heard in months!
Minneapolis mayor looks like another Castro love child.
These kids need to get jobs. Real jobs.
