I have to admit we have had 3 relatively uneventful nights in Atlanta, at least compared to some cities. The show of force has helped.
Ironically, the mayor having lost control on Friday asked the governor for help, and he sent in the NG. Saturday was still a little disorganized, but since it has been pretty zero tolerance.
Of course the mayor now (dem) is saying she didn’t know they would be so fun harsh. But the NG hasn’t engaged. But 6 of her APD folks (5 black, 1 white) caused problems the other day.

I don’t get it. They are sill protesting like 99% of the country still thinks what happened in MPLS was the right thing to do. After about 24 hours once most of the facts became known everyone condemned what happened, yet they still rioted, even after the officer was arrested, which was the original demand they had.

The “peaceful” I think are still protesting because they think the rest of us are racists and would kill them like the cops, and want reparations.
The rest are anarchists and/or communists and see this as their last great chance to overthrow the government. They know another 4 years of Trump, a rebuilt economy, a closed border, and drained swamp, would bury any hopes of that.
more arrests downtown LA - looks about 10-15 on Broadway. Protestors broke into Sprint bldg. about 6-8 floors, to run away from getting arrested, but they are looking out the windows (!!!) so the officers know they are there. Some others on roofs are laying down so the cops on the street can’t see them, but the chopper still can. All will be arrested soon.

Sorry, in The Episcopal Church all property is owned by the Diocese and held in trust for the Diocese by the congregation. The Bishop is the CEO of the Diocese. In that sense, it is "her" church.
But it is really Christ's Church, against which the gates of Hell will not prevail.
