We are going to be so glad we have a well armed militia...

Even the police won’t be able to take away our freedom.

I have taken this insurrection as analogy to the Odessa insurrectiin in 1905 which was the misfire that, when reloaded and fired again was the 1917 Revolution.

Our side has by far most of the guns in the fight that is no longer “coming” but is begun. But there is no organization. The other side is getting guns with gun store looting and from foreign sources and has the organization, lots of organization and funds. They are practicing robbing banks intthe technologically modern world i.e. blowing up ATMs. Individuals will not fight back alone and our own in Washington will be the first to stomp down on us if we do resist the revolution.

Rather more like the run-up to the Spanish Civil war.
It was new media technology, broadcast radio, that intensified the socio-cultural radicalization of both sides.

The Russian Army abandoned the war front and defected to the Bolsheviks. I don’t see that in the US unless Espy knows something or the generals do.

Thats the main point of difference between the US and Russian situations. The suffering and loss of the war cost the Russian regime most of its most loyal men, and alienated many more.

It was the weakness of the regime rather than the power of the revolutionaries that let the revolution(s) happen. If the Tsar still had his guard regiments and loyal Cossacks and his officer class, all of which had been massacred in the trenches, there would have been blood on the streets, and that would have been that.

Agreed. Communist, Fascist, Leftist. All one in the same. Deny the Individual. “They will try again”. Indeed. They always do.👍

In this pre-revolutionary situation, most of you are in the role of the Carlists in 1936.

That is, you are the traditionalist yeomanry and peasantry, who armed themselves. Your sense of tradition is American of course, not Spanish-Navarrese, but the analogy is clear.

Add to the mix the professional military combat branches (less the military bureaucracy), the serious churches, the bulk of the petit bourgeoisie, and a small group or two of radical extremists, and you have something quite close to the Spanish Nationalists of 1936. Even the hated police (the Guardia Civil) largely went over to them, as your police are likely to.

I have been arguing this for ages. All these lefties think they will rule in the New Communist America. Comes the Revolution then the Revolution will start eating its own as the leaders fight each other to be the top dog. Then those who think, the intellectuals are killed off because they were the source of the Revolution and are likely to spawn a New Revolution against the Old revolution. Then the permanent infighting ramps up among the ruling class as the wealth of the society declines and there is less to share among the elites. Few members of the elite die in their beds.

Their strongest hands are due to: 1) the takeover of the public schools and academia by the hardcore left with an agenda that they have imprinted on the millennials: 2) the takeover of the mainstream churches by pastors who preach politics and not Christianity; 3) the total abdication of objectivity by the mainstream media; 4) the painting of American history as something unrelentingly evil; and 5) the public tarring of anyone who disagrees with their poisonous canon, such as Drew Brees.

I will have to think about that. It is many years since I read extensively about the Spanish Civil War. I have forgotten most of it. I will refresh my knowledge of it. I do remember that the republicans- the Communists, the Anarchists, the Syndicalists, the Catalans, killed probably more of each other than they did Nationalists.

This book I read when young and it along with about half a dozen other books molded me into the Kirk conservative I am today.

When the Left gets back power, it will be like the draconian leftists in Spain’s government in the early 30’s which triggered the Spanish Civil War.

I don’t know about you people, but if the Globalist/Leftist/Dem Axis is not challenged with strong and sure Americans, they will start the dark ages, and I will be forced to fight them.

I have been laughed at for seeing this many years ago in our economic, cultural, political, theological, sociological, historical perspective.

Not anymore though. I saw this one and there is no excuse for Americans to sit and watch our country destroyed by this Axis. Americans need to cut the head off this viper now.

Excellent summary. It’s not like they are hiding any of this.

Our side has yet to have a say, as we’re currently inclined to moderation.

Should action become required, the chips will fall another way.

You’re not the Lone Ranger.

For instance, every prediction Alex Jones has made about where we are headed has come true, but he’s crazy don’t you know?

He has been a thorn in the sides of the global elite.

They are going to kill him one of these days.

I will take that as the “go” signal.
