Possibly. But there were large scale testing in other countries. I read about the results in Iceland. But, did not examine the methods.

You are correct, on both points.

I sat through many multi day trainings on pandemic flu well over a decade ago.

Some public officials have been chomping at the bit to have an opportunity for a grand-scale “exercise” for a LOOOONNG time.

We’re looking at the first 3 months alone and assuming that’s all there will ever be. We’re at 113,000 dead now, probably about 143,000 by August. If this picks back up again in the fall/winter, those numbers will begin to rise quickly again. Hopefully we have a working vaccine available by then.

There hasn’t ever been a vaccine developed that worked on the corona class of viruses, which includes the common cold, SARS, and AIDS. COVID-19 is in the corona class.

I understand it’s a huge challenge to make this work, but we do now have better tools than we’ve ever had before (including the ability to directly alter specific genes), and there’s a bigger push to get this done than anything before. President Trump has made a vaccine a priority because he knows that’s how you end this thing and all the economic baggage that comes with it.

I remain cautiously optimistic that with President Trump pushing and pulling to get this moving and with all the resources being thrown at it, and the promise of an astronomical payday for whoever nails it, we’ll be able to get a vaccine done for this. And if we can do it this year or early next, that would be astonishingly fast, given the history of vaccine development. It certainly isn’t guaranteed, but I can hope.

“MO (My Opinion) says ASS (Asymptomatic Spread Supposition) can not be proved or disproved because it is not practically measureable”

Good point, although saliva of persons who likely were exposed can be tested for presence of covid virions. If person is truly asymptomatic, and remains so, one could assume that the individual could transmit the virus.

Very mild symptoms present an interpretational problem if the person has chronic allergies, etc., with similar symptoms. The covid contribution might fall into the background noise.

Yes. I agree. The globalist players are paying lots of bucks to put the USA out of business and in chains.

The blacks and Hispanics must come to understand that they will be in chains or dead with us if the Totalitarians succeed.

Currently in Texas, they are not going to be able to pull it off. Simply not going to happen.

The number of patients who came into hospital with prior major illnesses and when they died had Covid19 (not from Covid19) were a significant part of the total cases. The Lady who works with Fouchi (Brix?) admitted that no matter what the actual cause of death was, if they had Covid19 too, the assumed cause of death was Covid19.

And then Governor Cuomo was playing huge games with collecting chips with Covid19 patients. To the point of condemning elderly to death.

So the 113,000 number is total BS. The same will be with the 143,000. As bad as these numbers are, it is still along the same lines as the normal Flu.

So I quit watching the data long ago. It was not worth the effort. You have no way of telling what is cooked into it. And it is NOT clean data. (Texas has tried to make it as accurate as possible, from what I heard.)

I really do not see much in that video that is different from any of the pandemic planning that I participated in when I was part of the pandemic planning/response team. I may have even briefed some of the participants of that symposium.

Of course it is not coincidence that the pandemic is unfolding in real life in a way that is very similar to the video. That is because the experts around the table in that video have a lot of real world experience, and they have a good grasp of human behavior. They wargame pandemic scenarios, because it would be disastrous to have a pandemic pop up without anyone ever having considered what to do and how best to handle such an event. The concept is no different than having fire drills at work or at school: while you do not know the exact details of how a fire will play out, you can teach people a specific response to it so that when it happens, you mitigate the damage and injury as much as possible. If you have ever participated in a fire drill, then experienced a real fire event, you know that the reactions to both end up being quite similar in both cases. With the exception that I have never told people to go home in the event of a fire drill, but I have certainly told them to go home after a real fire (I have spent some time being “Boss Lady”).

As for the scenario itself: the pandemic virus they selected is one of the two types of virus that is most suspected of being pandemic capable. The other is influenza. In the scenario, they had the virus infecting pigs initially before it made the jump to human hosts; this is a common behavior of influenza viruses (influenza often jumps from bird to pig to human). So using that mechanism in a scenario involving a coronavirus did not come out of the blue. And the fact is that any pandemic capable virus or bacteria will originate in animals; they do not suddenly spring into existence. The current pandemic virus jumped directly from bats to humans; this is not unprecedented, as Ebola and Marburg frequently make this jump with very severe consequences (they are both significantly more deadly than Covid-19).

As for being suspicious because the Bill and Melinda Gates was one of the sponsors of the event—to me, that’s no big deal, I would thank them for their contribution if I were one of the organizers of the event. To me, a person’s politics are immaterial if their information is solid and based in empirically established knowledge. The representative from the Gates foundation was, in fact, stressing that the private sector is best suited to address supply chain issues during a pandemic—that hardly sounds like the words of a globalist set on imposing worldwide socialist dictatorship to me.

Anyway, bottom line is that I see nothing conspiratorial about that pandemic planning event. It is pretty similar to events that I have attended and the literature that I have read (and even coauthored) on the subject.

I would say that they have been scared that such an event would happen for a long time. Since I have been a government official (not public) in the pandemic planning arena, I know that I and my colleagues within the field were very concerned that such an event would happen. No one was "chomping at the bit" for a chance to see a deadly pandemic happen in real life. Just remember, those who plan for such events are just as affected by them as anyone else. They are also subject to quarantines and just as susceptible to seriously illness and long-term consequences or even death as anyone else.
