Merriam Webster allowed crazy editors to work there in 1990’s and it has been useless since then. Today Webster’s has good computer games but bad dictionaries. I use a 1965 Webster’s Third Edition dictionary which is solid and refreshing.

The ultimate goal is to equate capitalism with racism. Period. This is a re-branding operation. They want to avoid using the word capitalism because that reminds people that words like progressive and equitable are the new words for socialism/communism.

“PC cops” perpetuate fake racism because racism is actually a next to a none issue today.

Peter Sokolowski, an editor at large at Merriam-Webster, told CNN that their entry also defines racism as “a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles” and “a political or social system founded on racism,” which would cover systematic racism and oppression.

That’s not a very useful definition unless the goal is to be confusing.

It is supposed to be confusing.

Just as the Bolsheviks and early Communists had their private vocabularies. The New Communists[Democrats ] have theirs. To wit} Resists, Racism, White Privilege, etal. They mean what they want them to at a particular time. And for a special purpose.

Stupid definition in the first place.
HOWEVER, from “Webster’s New World Dictionary of the American Language”, college edition, 1966, The World Publishing Company, the word “RACISM” is described as:

“1. racialism. 2. program or practice of racial discrimination, segregation, persecution, and domination, based on racialism.”

Their definition for “race” is very reasonable and does NOT refer to racial superiority.

Sorry but I can’t find my regular, but old Webster’s Dictionary.
