I know some here will disagree but those men were not traitors. I believe secession was wrong but they did not want to overthrow the U.S. government. They resigned any commissions they had in the U.S. army and it can be argued once their states seceded they were no longer U.S. citizens. So where was the treason?
They certainly are.
What?
Tuckers right, the left has taken over the military....
Said in jest but containing a deadly truth. These establishment milicrats will be more than happy to direct the woke military against normal Americans.
“Surprising that Petraeus would stick his head up. I suspect he is virtue signaling for senile Joe’s handlers to consider him for some juicy position in the Biden (spit) administration.”
Bingo!
his handsare certainly all over this mess
It's your history whether you like it or not General!
If you erase it, who is going to learn anything from it?
Do this...and a paper’s width separates us from erasing the Founders.
That is the true end goal.
They will go after the American Flag next. And don’t expect our Nation’s Capital to be named after George Washington for much longer.
Hey Betrayus, you Deep State sack of crap, you’re not one-tenth the man that Robert E. Lee was, or Braxton Bragg, or Henry Benning.
If you moonbat creeps keep trying to erase Southern history, maybe it’s time for them to secede once again.
The US Constitution, Section III, Article 3: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”
Are you suggesting that these individuals (all general officers in the Confederate Army) didn’t levy war against the United States?
OMG I can definitely see them changing the name of DC to Saint Floyd this has become BEYOND ridiculous WAY BEYOND!! These bastards have taken a criminal THUG and turned him into a super hero what a CROCK!!
WDC will be changed to “Handsupdontshoot” or to “Icantbreathe”. Pathetic yet possible.
We do not live in a country to which Braxton Bragg, Henry L. Benning, or Robert E. Lee can serve as an inspiration
= = =
But George Floyd can . . .
Betrayus back at it again, huh?
Damn Good Point !
It was/is Nowhere established !
