If all the money spent so far on fighting poverty and diversity issues and welfare was placed into an interest bearing account since 1960, I wonder how much money the gov’t would have by now. I bet it would be enough to abolish poverty completely in 2020. Instead we have perpetual poverty and diversity issues going on and on.

Knowing this if I were to get a “Dear Alum” letter from them I’d write “return to sender” on it and drop it in the mailbox.

Paying for Marxism with capitalism, go figure right. How else would they be able to achieve it. They wouldn’t, but man has a difficult time seeing past the tip of our very own noses. Marxists capitalize on man’s intellectual laziness.

This is an utter waste of money that concurrently raises the cost of tuition for deserving students. TAMU just added more revolving doors for "diverse" freshmen. As things presently stand, unqualified diverse enrollees (I'm avoiding the use of the word "student".) are required to take remedial courses prior to entering the fall semester. They are pushed through some weeks long courses expected to compensate for 13 years of academic failure. These diverse students are later found partying and being disruptive immediately following mid-terms. They know they failed and will not return after Christmas break.

All of this creates a greater burden on the successful and deserving. It increases tuition. It increases taxes. It takes resources away from those that desire academic excellence. It lessens and in some cases ruins the college experience. It lowers standards. Nothing is elevated. All of this for "diverse" enrollees that as a demographic are hindered by low IQs. This is not something they can overcome via handouts. It does the "diverse" a disservice because they never learn the lesson most needed by those with a deficient intellect. That lesson is quite simply that they must work harder and longer beginning at a very young age to be average among those blessed with white and Asian privilege.

Diversity, when it occurs naturally in a pure meritocracy,is neither good nor bad. When it comes about in any other way it's very bad indeed.

When I think of diversity I think back to when BillyBob had his major heart surgery. The doctors involved in his care, about a half dozen IIRC,held a press conference after the surgery.Every one of them was a white male. You'd think that BillyBob,the nation's first black President, would make sure that the team "looked like America".

Diversity for thee, but none for me.

When our honor kids were looking for scholarships, A&M wasn’t in the market for smart white students.

Historically, the mono-ethnic societies and countries have fared far better than “diverse” societies and countries.

A little more info to help understand that this isn’t just one college
campus but a network of college campuses across the state. Which
includes 11 Universities, 153,000 students

*******

Total Texas A&M University System Enrollment

The Texas A&M University System is one of the largest systems of higher education
in the nation, with a budget of $4.7 billion. Through a statewide network of
11 universities and eight state agencies, the Texas A&M System educates more
than 153,000 students and makes more than 22 million additional educational
contacts through service and outreach programs each year. System-wide, research
and development expenditures exceeded $996 million in FY 2017 and helped
drive the state’s economy.

I’m glad our granddaughter has only under a year to go. I’m seeing this once grand university going to the extreme leftists! I’ve seen young black Conservatives lately talking about how they feel no racism and what a fraud these groups are. Of course if we had a press in this country instead of an extra arm of the DNC people might learn something.

The rule of opposites:

“Anti-poverty programs” increase poverty.

Most of the money ended up paying the salaries and benefits of bureaucrats or lining the pockets of race hustlers.

The Left breaks everything they touch. Therefore, the more money spent, the worse the problem becomes.
