I have not seen that here yet. Last week they sent me a postcard telling me that services would be down some night after 12AM for upgrades. I am not usually up then, so I don’t know if it happened yet or not. I did have an outage 2-3 months ago for maybe a hour. So, in my corner of the woods there is nothing unusual to report with Spectrum. Not yet anyway.

My friend is IT security upper management at one of the big US cable companies. He said most of the US communication companies, including his, were hit with a pretty well organized DOS attack yesterday from overseas.

I got a phone call from Spectrum yesterday saying that all our Spectrum services would be down for about 20 minutes sometime overnight for “routine maintenance.”

All of this is very suspicious.
