No lie.
God, what a relief to learn there’s a few men left, here and there. I can just picture them:)
What’s happening is profoundly disheartening. At least during the craziness of the 60’s we had good music.
These kids are too lazy and self-absorbed to write and compose music.
It’s further up in Columbus Circle.
You may have seen it and just got the street wrong.
Or there may be a statue of him and/or others on 33rd street :)
I worked there 20 years and went all over Manhattan.
It’s been 12 years since I’ve worked there and I forgot almost everything :)
Not good.
I was 18 years old and overwhelmed. Lucky I had a “native” guide.
Honestly, after 12 years away, I think I would be overwhelmed too now.
In fact, I think midtown would give me an anxiety attack!
Staten Island is only FIVE miles away from Manhattan at its closest point.
Yet it might as well be 1000 for all they have in common.
Looks like the Left is having the ignorant paid thugs do the work of destroying statues instead of waiting for the New World Order.
We know who the thugs are, where they live and what kind of food their dogs like.
And don't forget that Mao used that to become the most accomplished mass-murderer in human history. Because of practically no population records, the total death toll of his "cultural revolution" will never be known, but it is estimated to be between 50 million and 75 million lives.

St. Louis is a hot mess of a city, but there is a section of it that is like a tranquil island, known as ‘The Hill’a proud Italian neighborhood. The homes, typically old and small are neat and tidy with pretty yards. Lot’s of very good restaurants and delis. Have never heard of BLM marches or demonstrations touching The Hill even though because of St. Louis’s small geographic size, many must have been close by.
