I loved VA. for the 15 years I lived there. We lived in Chesterfield, Smithfield, and Short Pump and loved all three. It was a great blessing to have been able to raise my kids there. The history, the mountains, the beaches, everything was exceptional.

It was a sad day when we moved. I cannot imagine driving down Monument Avenue or visiting Revolutionary and Civil War and Jamestown, York and Williamsburg (especially at Christmas), knowing what is happening to our first settlement, our fight for freedom, our fight for justice, our proud heritage and our honoring of our heroes in bronze and marble.

There MUST be a price that WILL be paid for this abomination taking place.

Didn’t you love Chesterfield! That’s the little town I miss the most. We lived close to the County Courts section. When they built the new Courthouse, we started calling it The Mall of Justice.. Tell me Chesterfield needed a courthouse that BIG!!

Alice Cooper started this crap, then it devolved to all what I call “crap” bands as they have no redeeming value, aesthetic beauty, or call it what you will.Cooper was a case in point, but I can cite a slew of others. We just have a case of outdoing the ones that came before. Marylin Manson and others have the freedom to do this but that does not postulate, defend or condone licentious immorality or bitter antagonism for the values of those that came before us. It is indeed a sad state of affairs for our society.

It is ironic that Alice is now sober, calls himself a Christian and funds a home for wayward boys, the likes of his example starting 40 years ago.
