I watched the whole video. Brooks turned back and fired the taser at the officers while running. He actually fired twice. Bad decisions lead to bad outcomes.
Sad that these two officers are going to be made to fall on the sword for something that they did NOT do. I think they need to get General Flynn’s attorney

I thought that same thing. The DA used the phrase "so we concluded" several times like it's a done deal, not to be disputed. This guy needs to lose in upcoming election.....

One would expect Rolfe’s attorney to deny it since it’s essential to the ‘depraved indifference’ needed for the felony murder charge. But the other officer is working on deal with the prosecution to provide evidence. It’ll depend if he can support Rolfe’s side.

I watched the video and the shots were initiated when the guy had turned toward the closest cop in pursuit and the guy had just done a quick turn-around as they actually rang out...a split second slower on the 180 and they wouldn’t have hit his back. Not to mention, the perp was closer to the cop he tried to tase and would have had an opportunity to try for the cop’s gun if he had been successful.
There was too much of a fight with Brooks using deadly force before the shooting (punching to the head, tasing armed police, etc.) and no time for decisions for Rolfe. IMO, he shouldn’t be prosecuted for any crime. Fired, maybe, but not prosecuted.
I have cut down on colds to the point that i don’t get them most years. I have literally felt the characteristic “burning” sensation on the back of your nostrils in a prelude to a cold and have knocked it out with a good rinse over a couple days. Let it run down into your throat to get some salt water on the back of your throat.
