Is President Trump a white supremacist? No, of course not. The charge or claim is absurd. The only possible way to justify such a claim is through extreme twists of "logic" while very selectively cherry-picking statements or actions.

Guess what. Not every single thing a President (any President) does is going to equally benefit (or negatively impact) every possible demographic combination. If you're willing to put on your agenda-driven blinders you can find examples from every President that supported or hurt just about anyone. They are tough decisions, and in the real world there aren't the contrived Hollywood endings where everyone walks into the sunset hand in hand.

The similar charges of racism, homophobia, sexism, - whatever the insult du-jour is - levied against supporters of President Trump are even more foolish, if that's possible. For you lib lurkers out there already angry at me hold on. I'm going to hit you with three more truths that are going to hurt even more.

First, when you reflexively call President Trump supporters "racist" or "homophobe" or whatever... You do realize you're showing the worst kind of prejudice, right? You know, one of those traits you claim those mean old conservatives have yet you "enlightened" liberals are free from? Yeah, not so much. Your prejudices are so deeply held you no-longer even recognize them as such. You just assume you're right, we're wrong, and therefore anything negative you think, say, or do towards us is justified. I suggest you climb out of your parochial echo-chambers of idiocy and actually consider some new ideas once in a while. But I digress...

The second truth you lib lurkers need to realize is that just because we support President Trump doesn't mean we support him on everything he says or does. Sure, he's light-years ahead of the Clinton-Crime-Inc. alternative we had back in '16. So just because you've cherry-picked some action or statement President has done or made, and you've convinced yourself this is "proof" he's a racist or whatever. That doesn't mean we supporters were behind him 100% on that. We support President Trump because we believe he is the best choice, best hope for America. That support is not unconditional. Other GOP politicians would do well to remember that too. Getting back to educating our lib lurkers though, you would do well to remember that tarring everyone with the same brush is a mistake. It is especially onerous when your racist or whatever "brush" is completely made up.

Finally, just stop with the "you're either with us or against us" nonsense. You liberals have all your endless "litmus tests" for seemingly every single issue that comes along. In other words, if someone, eg. a President or his supporters, doesn't agree with every single item on your agenda we must be completely against it. (well, in general I personally am just about universally against everything liberals have become) However, you liberals are taking it to extremes, reductio ad absurdum writ large. If President Trump or one of his supporters said they liked Key Lime Pie, you liberals would immediately claim that we must be anti-apple, anti-cherry, anti-Lemon Meringue. You of course have no basis upon which to make such a claim, but that has never stopped a liberal from voicing a cheap shot.

Never argue on their terms. Shift it.

If Trump is a racist, if America is racist, if cops are systematically killing black men... well, they’re doing a terrible job going about it.

Why just today in Virginia I saw a black policeman writing a ticket to a white male driver who had clearly submitted to the authority of the officer. Then, in downtown DC, I passed numerous black people walking around freely. No white people or anyone else was shouting at them or putting them down in any way. In fact, I saw several blacks entering and exiting businesses without a sign of oppression.

How is it that such racists as Trump and the cops are doing such an awful job of oppressing non-whites?

All kidding aside, when I grew up in the 1960s/70s, blacks who rode or drove up Connecticut Ave in NW DC had to be known by the police or they would be harassed. Even in the 80’s I saw incidences of racism, one I’ll never forget of a group of whites attacking a black man whose girlfriend was white. Those were the worst cases of racism I personally ever witnessed. My black friends can tell of discrimination, especially what one friend calls “Driving with Dreds” in a red Cadillac (this guy is an incredibly talented math teacher). But even he will admit to the logic of such discrimination, as he looks like a lot of criminals.

Speaking of which, I had a business partner in South America who was of Syrian descent. And he looked it. When we’d fly into Miami or NY together, we’d sign off and say, “see ya in a couple hours.” He’d catch up with me at a bar outside the gate after a thorough discussion with Immigration Officials (this was before TSA).

Just the same, cops in South America, where I had businesses, would routinely haul me in for no reason when they saw me driving around, simply becuase of my looks: blond, white male. “Gringo” they called me — and to the cops I represented a great opportunity for a bribe. I generally didn’t pay, but when I didn’t I risked spending those more than a few evenings sitting in a dumb-ass police department waiting for my local lawyer to show up and ream the idiots.

Discrimination is the essence of understanding the world. It is essentially human to distinguish between things, otherwise we wouldn’t survive. This or that? Friend or foe? Useful or not? That’s how blacks get pulled over unfairly — I get it, but that’s also why they get pulled over and it’s not necessarily unfair given that others who look just like them are regularly committing crimes.

This is just an extension of the eight years of Hussein. Merely opposing Obama on an issue got anyone labelled racist. Trump defeated the candidate who promised to extend Obama’s policies therefore he must be racist.

AOC and BLM are busily converting people to the attitude “I no longer care about black people, I will now only care about the interests of my own kid’s future”.

‘Shame on those who use such ugly words as a political and ideological tool.’

like that hasn’t been a staple of politics for as long as humans have had politics...
