We were under the leading edge of the cloud today with the “peak” coming in overnight into tomorrow, they say. I don’t know if we’ll have drizzle between showers and thunderstorms tomorrow. Could get pretty yucky.
They finally mentioned the second cloud that’s on its way during the weather report tonight but not if it’s as thick as this one. Everywhere that’s caught the brunt of this thing is already a huge mess.
No rain in the northern parts of TN today and people sent in pix of gorgeous sunsets to Channel 5 News. I’m kinda jealous missing out on that. Some were fabulous.
It’s a little hard being owned by cats. They’re going to do what they want and keep us fretting. LOL

The was a popular song for cover bands to play back in those days. Ah Leah wasn’t done by as many because really tight vocals were required to pull it off.
I can’t help but giggle at older videos like that. The way the bands dressed sometimes could be a hoot. They had to look like rock stars! LOL

Yes, they keep telling us about the fantastic sunsets, but we nearly always have them here. Probably because we nearly always have some kind of dust in the air. LOL!

We can get some pretty fabulous sunsets when we have long dry spells, but then we can get some pretty fabulous ones when it’s humid too. All depends on the clouds.
They said this is the thickest dust cloud to come over here in about 50 years and I can’t help but wonder what kind of sunset or sunrise I could have caught on camera. I guess I’ll never know unless there’s some clearing at sunrise or sunset tomorrow. I’m not holding my breath.
