If I were on a case like this I would thoughtfully listen to all the evidence and use my experiences in life as my guide and declare anyone employing this form of self defense entirely innocent.

One would think climbing on the hood of a moving vehicle was inherently dangerous.
Listen to the chanting on the Facebook video. It sounds like something from a 1950’s Africa themed B-movie.

Even this biased article says the cop’s rear window was bashed in. The rioter’s state they were “flung off” the car. That means they were on the car. The rioters claim he ran into people standing in front of the car. That means they were blocking a cop car. They have already made the cop’s case for him.

Note the use of “largely”. Translation: there was rioting and violence. Words which cannot be mentioned by our media.

Anyone who bangs on, or climbs on, your vehicle is attacking you. You have a right to defend yourself, although that right has been rescinded if you’re a cop or White. You have a right to save yourself by driving away. Since they are all over your windshield, you cannot see in front of you when you drive away.
I got some language that matters in this case “Get in front of a f’ing moving car and you might end up hurt or dead”.
Question....how and why is it that this so called "systemic racism" can even exist....in a Dem controlled city??

The rest is what happens when “peaceful” protesters were no longer peaceful and the protesters are the culprits for what happens next.
HOWEVER MY FRIENDS.
I think the police reaction is the INTENT of the protests and protesters. The organizers want some martyrs, they want the protesters to provoke the police into doing things that will cause some protesters some harm. Yes, it is provocation and intentional, but the “public image” is not a good display of the BLM motives. The public only sees what happens.
I think our police need to understand they are being intentionally provoked.
Maybe they should use nets, instead of rubber bullets and tear gas. Just drop nets on the disrupters and then once subdued by the net they can be put in the paddy wagons one by one.
