Masks are a psychological prop. Much better protection is afforded by using a face shield, which has the advantage of being reusable many more times as long, are more comfortable overall, protect the eyes as well, and allow for facial recognition. Also, there are no breathing problems or fogging up of your eyeglasses every time you exhale.

So wearing a mask protects everyone around? So does staying home. So does staying under the covers all day.
Bottom line: if you’re afraid of Covid, stay home. No one can hurt you. Let the rest of us live with risks of Covid, flus, car accidents, lightning strikes, etc.
