***The FBI is not a national police force.***

This was the BIG FEAR back in 1968 and 1969, that certain politicians were wanting a Federal Police Force to control the US. i remember small town newspapers warning of this.

Losing a firearm is a serious issue. I believe lying in the prosecution of a case is a far more serious issue.

My fingers deliver full-auto facts as well.

Nicely done.

” losing your weapon should be cause for instant dismissal.”

Brings up an interesting question.
How many if any special agents are fired if any?

How about the dancing boy agent?
Is is S.O.P. to keep a round in the chamber when off duty? WHY?
Last I heard he was transferred.
Did they keep him for laughs?

But they are so special, no need for body cameras!
Their notes are infallible. Even after multiple edits!

The FBI? F them and feed them fish heads.

I wonder if they categorize some firearms as “active” and others as “reserve stock” in storage? That would give a higher ratio of ammo to arms.

Besides, Hannity knows some who are stand-up guys.😎

Yes he does...and he tells us that every freekin night!
I'm guessing he does, I seldom watch Hannity, but when he goes on his, "99.999% of FBI agents are just great guys" I change channels to old Gunsmoke reruns.

And they should receive serious repercussions for both. ‘Lose’ your firearm outside line of duty (said line of duty including storing firearm per Bureau policy even when policy is stupid)? Instant dismissal. Lying in the course of prosecution? Jail time and dismissal. No less should be accepted.

What’s even more concerning is that per the same report, the FBI really has no idea of what explosives they have or where they have them. Or even if they still have them.

Dunno about the rest, but round in chamber is SOP on or off duty for most agencies and for most CCW/pistol courses. The time needed to chamber a round may be time the holder simply doesn’t have.

For me a normal day at the range will consume between 100 and 200 rounds, about five times as many as they have in storage per weapon. At that it looks like their agents may not be getting anywhere as much range time as they need.
