Mask mandates are unconstitutional. Not that any of these politicians care. It’s amazing that people so willingly do whatever they’re told by their political leaders even though the vast majority of people think that politicians are liars, thieves and scumbags.
I have a family member who teaches high-school math. He teaches all of the higher level classes in statistics, calculus, etc.
One of the plans being floated is to assign a group of kids to one teacher and keep them with just that one teacher the entire school day.
Which drives him nuts as he is literally the only person in the building who is qualified to teach those higher level courses. Good luck learning calculus from your gym teacher!
If you read the “mandate” order here in PA you’ll find that it’s just a strongly worded suggestion filled with empty threats. Riddled with exemptions and exceptions (including acne!), and goes out of it’s way to state that there are no criminal or civil penalties for failure to obey.
Written by some lawyer who knows none of it would stand-up in court.
No consideration is being given to the health hazards of long-term mask wearing such as hypoxia (not getting enough oxygen), hypercapnia (breathing in too much CO2), inhaling microbes that have just been exhaled, and microbes concentrating in the fabric of the mask.
Glad I have no children.
Too many congenital problems with me to begin with. I wouldn’t want to chance an innocent kid to possibly suffer with any I have.

I must not understand the meaning of cyber schools. I thought they're the schools the students attend from home?
