A lot of people don’t bother to vote. I don’t vote on every issue, because not everything interests me. For example I never vote for judges as they don’t mean nothing to me.

The eligible voters that choose not to vote have outnumbered the turnout of either political party for 100+ years. They dwarf the combined turnout for local and state elections.
The 24 hours news cycle, smart phones and social media condition people to vastly overestimate the number of people who actually care about politics and culture, at least enough to bother voting about it.

I think they could be the source of fraudulent ballots inserted undetected into the postal system
Citation: El Chapo Net Flix TV program where the Mexican postal unions were bought by the Sinaloa Cartel to develop ballots in urban locations necessary to provide the win presidential

but Im curious about just how the postal unions could actually manage to do that. We vote in Oregon 100% by mail but I have no clue who counts them or how votes are tallied and produced for the public. If you like secrecy you will love vote by mail.

No thanks. If I had the power I would enact laws that would require EVERY voter to provide a photo ID to two Federally certified voting marshals, and vote ONLY at certified polling places. And that would include everybody, no exceptions. And any voting marshal convicted of participation in election fraud would be sentenced to five years in the slammer, no exceptions and no plea bargaining and no parole.

I am. I used to work over here, and my wife still does. Originally from Northern Illinois though. Take care.

That was quite awhile ago. Libertyville was a pretty nice town.
