Negative ads work—the failure of Hillary’s ad was that she did not attack Obama by name (too afraid of being called racist).
In politics you need to attack your opponent without mercy.
You can have separate ads about the President’s accomplishments, but the attack ads need to attack Biden by name—and without mercy—particularly since you are countering mass media brainwashing of low information voters.
President Trump is not a nice guy—everybody knows that—he should take advantage of that fact and fight hard—have no mercy on Biden and the Democrats.
My proposal for the “kill shot” October ad is a variation on this one.
Joe Biden wakes up at 3AM and calls out: “Dear, I forgot to close the electric garage door.”
He presses a red button.
Secret service and military folks swarm into the room:
“Sir, you just started a nuclear war....”
I disagree- President Trump is a VERY nice guy- unless you attack him. Then he fights back hard.
And the media has been attacking him since before he won.
Thanks, it works now.
Bring to your relative’s attention the following excerpt from this morning’s Issues and Insights, these are verbatim quotes from Biden and they ain’t misspeaking, or stumbling over words, or gaffes. This is senility talking, period:
Queried in late April by a Miami TV newsman about his son Hunters highly questionable and possibly illegal business dealings with Ukraine, Obamas former No. 2 responded: My sons business dealings were not anything where everybody that hes talking about, not even remotely, number one.
Thats an exact transcription. Go ahead. Make sense of it.
Just weeks earlier, speaking on ABCs This Week, he had this to say about the COVID-19 pandemic:
We cannot let this, weve never allowed any crisis from the Civil War straight through to the pandemic of 17, all the way around, 16, we have never, never let our democracy sakes second fiddle, way they, we can both have a democracy and elections, and at the same time correct the public health.
Fair enough—but the context of my comment was low information voter perception—and the low information voter will not be surprised if the Trump campaign plays tough.
*** The “best” ones claim that Senile just has a stuttering problem. ***
A woman with whom I have a cordial relationship is a Ph ED candidate and a Democrat. She makes that exact argument along with diagnosing Biden with an audio-processing dysfunction that she claims that he may have had all his life.
I told her that the evidence since Biden’s entry into national politics doesn’t support her conclusion. Biden is petty, he’s always been a self-aggrandizing liar, and in the last year we have seen such a decline in his mental state that he’s no longer effective at the first two.
All I see is a guy with a bad case of “sundowners” desperately trying to cover when he loses his thoughts. Many, many Americans have seen a loved one struggle through dementia and they don’t need somebody to tell them what they are seeing.
Slow Joe’s running so therefore he is open to all criticism. Facm....
