Sadly, these are the things that most on our side are, afraid of, so she is, in effect, right in calling out white conservative fear. What to do about it, I'm not sure as the risk in speaking up right now has the potential for coming at a great cost.

When we get to the point that the cost is a price we are not willing to pay (complete loss of our country), I'm assuming people will find their voices. Will it be too late by then? We'll see.

On another note, there is a moment in the video where she talks about black Dem supporters being "house negroes." This is the argument on the other side of the coin. Many, many blacks in this country are truly afraid to "leave the plantation" and live their lives in true freedom (which comes with the utmost in personal responsibility). Her observation about this is right on.

I was in an Art School in Columbus, Ohio. It was a few miles from Ohio State. This story was all over the news for quite a few months. Even then, people doubted that ‘reverse discrimination’ was something real. Bakke was a young man. That’s the only time I ever heard that Dutch sounding surname.

I spent 45 years in Silicon Valley. Some gear years and times. Weather, fresh fish, year round great veggies, seasonal fruits..... as a conservative I found myself being quieter and quieter.

Most employers seem to be spineless, and will not stick up for their employees.

Dozens of Wrongful Termination have happened, with apparently very little legal pushback.
Hopefully, this will change after a couple of very expensive,very public lawsuits. This is the only way such employers will learn.

This is the big issue. It's difficult to even talk about any of these kinds of issues, when your entire livelihood can disappear just from something you say on your own time. You don't even have to talk any actions, just saying something nowadays can be enough to get the axe. And, as you get into a bigger and bigger company, it certainly seems that they tend to become more and more liberal. Very odd.

Not sure if anyone here saw it, but there was an article on FR a day or two ago about Cisco hosting a 'race' conversation with all their employees, then firing a couple hundred who weren't down with the struggle enough.
