Elliot Engel is bitching that the incumbents shouldn’t be challenged in the primary.
He apparently forgot that he beat incumbent Mario Biaggi in the 1988 primary. LOL. Biaggi was under indictment however.
Obviously Suraj Patel is going to lose because he’s an Indian. He’s not a member of a favored group in the Democratic Party
I think the constitution provides that if no candidate has received a majority of the whole number of electors by the time prescribed for certifying a winner, the House of Representatives selects a president from the top five candidates. In making the selection, each state gets one vote to be determined by majority vote of the congressmen of that state. California and Rhode Island are equal in the selection process.

It is, however, a race between the standard Democrat and the socialist in a few places. The long-time incumbents have been falling.
A lot of hardcore AlwaysTrumpers made that same argument earlier this year, even though Trump's "opposition" in the primary was a joke and didn't last more than a few states.
They're going to have buyers remorse of the "sitting Presidents should be immune from primary challenges" talking point if we ever get some backstabbing RINO President in the future.
Biaggi got the Republican line, which was still good for getting him 27% in the general.

Sometimes people just say shit, like the “no Supreme court nominees in an election year” nonsensical unneeded justification.
We all know how tolerant the Left is.
They do NOT want a Patel to win over Maloney.
So...it won’t happen...by any means necessary.
And this is how they want it, becuase they can shout each other down until the other side wins and they get what they want

It is beyond question that any mail-in vote scheme is intended to make it impossible to know who won without the intervention of political authorities.
There used to be a jingle for toys: You can tell it's Matel--it's swell.
The Patels owned a chain of cheap motels and their "mantra" was: You can tell it's Patel--it smells.

Patel is about 37 years old.
if he wins, the country is stuck with him for 40 years, perhaps. Maloney is old. she will be gone soon. Perhaps someone less dangerous than Patel will replace her at that point.
Patel is far left. At least Maloney has a history of being anti-crime.
