Portland sees 150-round shooting at apartment building, as crowds continue violent clashes with police

I have an uncle in rural SW Oregon about 25 miles from the coast. Based on signage and the gun show we went to when I visited recently, once you get out of Portland and Eugene there’s a lot of Trump country.

Two stories, two new tactics mentioned. In Austin, during the ‘mostly peaceful’ shooting that involved one armed ‘peaceful protester’ getting killed, the police chief revealed that several cars followed the mob and then blocked police cars from arriving on the shooting scene.

And now we have some ‘mostly peaceful’ protesters impersonating the press, which allows them freedom of movement inside and outside of police lines.

In Chicago, ‘mostly peaceful’ protesters used a variation of the Roman shield formation testudo using umbrellas and launching fireworks, sharpened PVC spears, etc.

The police need to be aware of this escalation and develop means to overcome them—if their civilian masters will allow it.
