1- If it was not effective as a therapeutic and keeping people out of the hospital, then the drug company funded scientists and politicians would not be fighting its use so hard. If ineffective, those taking it would ultimately wind up in the hospital and taking the more expensive drugs.
2- look at the low infection rates in many African countries where HCQ is taken for malaria.

Yes, as told by the daughter’s sister to my wife for this one instance. One size does not fit all, but I thought it was noteworthy. If they don’t know the answer to that question for a drug that has been used around the world for 75 years, they are hopefully clueless.

The standard is different for the “white” people.
If HCQ is so unsafe, how did it ever get FDA approval? Sure, folks with heart problems should probably avoid it, but it is a safe drug for everyone else. As with everything else, ask your doctor about side effects, consider your personal and family medical history, then make an informed choice.
