Has there ever been a Flu vaccine that has been effective (greater than 25% effective)? Why would this time be different? A permanent flu vaccine (one shot protects you from all kinds of flu forever) would not be economical for the vaccine companies and will not be developed.

I imagine that we shall probably need to be revaccinated every year, just like for flu vaccines. But I don’t really know, either!! And we can live with yearly revaccinations!
And we need to get away from “public health” approaches if and when possible—i.e., social distancing, lockdowns, masks, closure of businesses, big-government-imposed restrictions, etc. etc.
