Erich Barnes, NFL Hall of Fame DB, was in my platoon at Parris Island. Nicest guy.

I don’t blame them. Never give a fool an even break. Put everything on them they can carry. Don’t worry about the mule, just load the wagon.

The entertainment benefit that competitive sports give to the participants, fans and sponsors is obvious.
However,
The fans do not need to know anything about the players except the number on the back of the jersey.
The political ideas, and agendas are of no interest to fans.
To see a group of young, talented men and women disgrace themselves for a dubious cause is sad. “Good bye airholes.”
(as the advert used to say.)
We can just say that there are thousands of other things to take up our idle time. SCREW THE NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA and all other groups that think they are irreplaceable!!!

I think sports should have all rules allied to them as any business. Percentage of blacks in sports is racist.

"When the Left hates something it either kills it off or converts it to its own uses."

And converting it to its own purposes is often the same as killing it off.

You can't follow the game if you don't know the players.

It might be confusing at first but it ain't rocket science. Hang in there. The sports connection comes up quick.

That's the warm up, here's the pitch. https://www.globalwarmingmitigationproject.org/george-Frampton

You might call this the seventh inning stretch.

And now the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club is asking for similar information to conduct its own investigation into the matter.

The club hired Nancy Kestenbaum of Covington & Burling LLP, whose legal work includes conducting investigations into sexual misconduct at elite preparatory schools.

General Michael Flynn obtained attorneys from Covington to represent him in the filing of a FARA form in December of 2016, shortly after the 2016 election. A few months later, General Flynn’s life was turned upside down and he hired Covington to represent him in charges being leveled by the Mueller gang. Eventually, the Covington lawyers working for the General coerced him to sign a guilty plea on charges he did not believe he was guilty of performing...

...One simply can’t discuss Covington without mentioning its robust sports practice. With more than 50 years of experience, Covington’s sports law department is an all-star team in and of itself. The group has represented the likes of MLB, MLS, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, NHL, USGA, USTA, to name some. The firm has also counseled college sports leagues on a variety of matters and advised both the pros and colleges on their broadcast contracts.

The sports practice is multi-faceted, but Covington lawyers meet the challenge, handling everything from antitrust and collective bargaining to financings and insurance to media rights and regulatory affairs to sponsorships and tax—plus much more.

The backlash to the players’ stupid actions will effect race relations. Sorry to be black.
BLM and Antifa will be blamed for more than they ever expected. Pi$$ on the whole group!

UCONN bowed out the other day Coach said he listed to the team and they didnt want to be exposed in other teams facilities ect

They have been going through a tough rebuild and were going to have a hard time scheduling because of their new independent status. (Back in the Big East for basketball, but homeless for football.)

best thing for our movement would be for all of these sports to get cancelled. for far too long men have sat on their couches and lived our their manly urges vicariously via sports. our ‘tribal’ needs have been met via sports. it’s the ‘circuses’ part of ‘bread and circuses’. maybe men will come out of their sports coma and FIGHT for real things.

Sports sports have been very harmful to the modern male psyche for at least 30 year. Now they are all marxist institutions... abandon them!

Six Pro Bowls, but not in the HoF.

When was he in Parris Island? (From reading his bio, ‘53-’55 looks like the best opportunity.)

Glad I got over sports several years ago. I can live without team sports. I still like watching some golf. Its actually better watching golf on tv not having the drunks in the gallery yelling stupid stuff.

Saw Crazy Legs Hirsch a while back. A LONG while back. But yeah, never really did much for me either.

Crazy Legs was before Jimmy legs.

‘best thing for our movement would be for all of these sports to get cancelled.’

you got something against young people learning about life through participation in sports, where they can learn to show grace in both victory and defeat...? what ‘real things’ would you rather have them doing...?

All sports is basically dead

Dead of suicide, and it's been happening for years.

Anyone who believed, last year, before COVID, that the NFL would exist under its present business model in five years was crazy.

I am watching the PGA championship right now. The players are each an entrepreneur. In most tournaments, if you do not make the cut, you get no money at all. The PGA Tour has no appearance fees ( participation trophies). Sponsor money comes from a players success and personality. There is almost no “wokeness” showing.
