The locals we are talking about here are not made of the same stuff. They are mostly urban hipsters and older well off idiots who moved into the city for it’s “diversity”, “vibrancy”, and nightlife. My son used to work at an Ivy League school and had an Indian guy tell him that sure, it’s racially diverse, but it’s basically an echo chamber. One opinion allowed.
The guy worked at other places that were not so racially diverse but had a great deal more diversity of THOUGHT.
