Exactly right. What if??? If everyone had access to HCQ at the beginning of this virus, how many lives would have been saved? Said another way, how many deaths are the democrats responsible for?

Sorry, that honor still goes to the “Trump colluded with the Russians” hoax.

If HCQ is some day proven to be effective in treating Covid, heads should roll in the NIH. And Fauci should be the first. I just don’t understand why the Administration hasn’t pursued proving the efficacy of HCQ and Zinc.

I prefer science presented in a rational, non-hysterical and non-partisan way.

I don’t like this article. He could have written everything you quote, without condemning Trump in such a blatantly leftist way. (He could have left out the crudeness, too.)

If he really wants to help people, alienating millions who might read this isn’t a smart way to go.

So, are you one of those self-important ‘intellectuals’ who think they know best how to ‘propagandize’ the great unwashed?

Our intelligence services, think tanks and the legion of hack journalists think they know, too.

They all misjudge the real concerns - and the level of gullibility - of the average person who, when confused and frightened by current events and all the mixed-signals they are receiving, simply want straightforward, untinged FACTS.

Do you know what some natural or OTC substitutes there are for HCQ?

***If he really wants to help people, alienating millions who might read this isn’t a smart way to go.***

I agree that he could have gone that route, and maybe should have.

However, I still appreciate his piece, because he is not trying to convince Trump supporters of the scientific merit of HCQ. He is trying to appeal to the left, who are so infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome, that they cannot see straight at all, and REAL PEOPLE are DYING because they are being so stubborn. They aren’t being scientific.

How else do we reach them? So only in this regard do I appreciate his vulgar Trump-hating piece. I hope the left reads this and begins to understand.

Science isn’t supposed to be infected with politics, though in the real world, it is.

Well, maybe he should just dump the politics, and try to convince people in general of the scientific merit of HCQ. There are ways to put that in simple language that anyone can understand - you don’t have to mess it up with political bias - real or pretend - to get your point across.

Frightened people are pretty much the same in their instincts, across the board.

(I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.)

That’s fine (agreeing to disagree). I’m not against what you said. I am just hoping that because he was so zealous in his anti-Trump sentiments, that he might get the attention of those who would otherwise disregard his findings completely because he ends up supporting HCQ as an early treatment.

I only made it through about a third of this idiocy. It proves that someone can be right about a thing or two, and deranged with regard to most else.

After his research he may see that he has been lied to about many, many things, and maybe start to rethink past "truths" that no longer are.

It happened to me at age 38.

Well, maybe that works in some cases. But I think that generally, when people believe that they are dealing with life-or-death, they don’t really care about politics. They want FACTS.

People all across the political spectrum are kind of sick of politicians and politically-motivated people screwing with them.

Trump’s mention of HCQ was a happy accident for America’s enemies (including the left). The main reason to undermine HCQ and other cures and preventatives was to keep the “pandemic” going with all its “benefits”: no Trump rallies, tank economy, kill older likely Trump voters, use unemployed for social disruption, hide Biden, fraud by mail, etc.

Don’t kid yourself. The left wants you dead. They would have discredited HCQ whether Trump mentioned it or not.

If HCQ had been tested and disturbed with zinc and D3 as a prophylactic this whole thing would have ended by April 30. The fact it is still a concern shows the power of their thought manipulation.

Cinchona bark ( bark tea or capsules) contains quinine, must research safe dosage
Grapefruit peel ( there are recipes online to create a quinine tonic from grapefruit peel)
Tinctures
Cranberries
OTC medications sold for leg cramps, some contain quinine
Tonic water- low level of quinine, could be bolstered by adding tonic above

Zinc ionophores ( no quinine but gets virus-killing zinc into cells)
Quercetin ( “ poor mans HCQ”)
Green tea
