Nice 'crossfire hurricane'. One going ashore right behind the other....look out!
Oh the huge Manatees!
It will kill them all!
The Third seal!
Will be beached!
Im going to the gulf coast beach next week. Figures. Havent had a day off Of vacation in 8 months.
Actually, it looks like the first one will drop down to a tropical storm before the second becomes a hurricane, so you can cut down on the milk, bread, and toilet paper purchases.
I have a super dual storm thread ready to go, including Fujiwhara Effect explained. Waiting for TD14 upgrade to Marco. Maybe by 11PM.
Why not 2020 have been a massive disaster. Might as well pile on.
Third times a charm
OK genius. I have been a professional meteorologist for over 33 years now. This is the first time on record that I have seen this forecasted...but since you seem to know better...
Name it.
Sure they have come back to back...but never at the same time.
Go ahead. Name the date and time - and the storms (hurricanes - not a hurricane and tropical storm - because that has happened once - and only once).
I'll wait.
They did if you would bother to read - or had some reading comprehension: "Next week for the first time on record"
First time on record means for as long as we have been keeping record of these things - which for the Atlantic - we have been keeping good detailed records for about 150 years or so.
Is that so hard? No. Well, maybe for some.
Hurricanes Opal and Erin hit us in Pensacola in 1994 about 1 week apart.
Payback for the Astros....
One of my boys followed a job from Houston to Fort Worth, and is happy with the change. There’s memories of Harvey, the social stuff, and that incredible sweltering air. By comparison, Ft. Worth/Dallas has a “dry heat.”
Title text: After exhausting the OED, we started numbering them. When overlapping hurricanes formed at all points on the Earth's surface, and our scheme was foiled by Cantor diagonalization, we just decided to name them all "Steve". Your local forecast tomorrow is "Steve". Good luck.
Somebody piss in your Corn Flakes?
The first ever...........EVER? How the hell do they know? Always with the hyperbole, just like hotest ever.
I was thinking it could go the other way. The “Perfect Storm” of 1991, which combined a nor’easter with a fading tropical storm to yield a monster hurricane strength storm over coastal New England and the Maritimes.
Oh well then. I guess Covid19 will drop off the radar again for a few weeks.
