I’ve not read the indictment, but:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audrey_Strauss

Audrey Strauss (born 1947 or 1948) is an American attorney serving as the acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

As deputy U.S. Attorney, Strauss assumed the acting position on June 20, 2020, after the previous U.S. attorney, Geoffrey Berman, stepped down amid pressure from Attorney General William Barr.

Strauss returned to the Southern District of New York in 2018, serving as Deputy U.S. Attorney under Geoffrey Berman. During her tenure as Deputy U.S. Attorney, Strauss worked on cases against Michael Cohen, Chris Collins, and Rudy Giuliani associates Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas.

On June 20, Barr stated that the President had fired Berman, adding, “By operation of law, the Deputy United States Attorney, Audrey Strauss, will become the Acting United States Attorney,” serving until a nominee is confirmed by the Senate. Berman then agreed to step down.

Apparent revenge for firing of her last Boss?

It is the ComDem way. They have been doing things like this from the time President Trump was elected. Using an Obama weaponized justice system to punish all who support President Trump.

Remember:

Ghislaine Maxwell Arrested Just 11 Days After Geoffrey Berman was Fired.

https://dbdailyupdate.com/index.php/2020/07/02/ghislaine-maxwell-arrested-just-11-days-after-geoffrey-berman-was-fired/

Was Berman preventing the prosecution? Was that why he was fired?

This is a most evil cabal that has suddenly (/sarcasm) been prosecuted since Berman was removed.

Connect the dots.

I agree. They should have gotten much stiffer sentence. This was poor prosecuting. You never reward a defendant for dragging out the process.

The issue is pretty straightforward.

Did Bannon et al mislead donors who gave to WBTW?

Apparently, there is some evidence that indicates that WBTW told potential donors / donors that 100 percent of the contributions would go to wall construction, Kolfage would not receive compensation, etc.

It should be easy for Kolfage et al to show that 100 percent of the contributions went to wall construction. Right?

Federal trials enjoy a conviction rate above 90%. Unfortunately for Bannon and his fellow defendants they have handed multiple double wrapped gifts to the prosecutors. There is a techical legal term for their current situation: Deep Doo Doo.

Federal grand jury members are picked at random off various community data bases.

While only prosecution evidence is heard the defense can ask the indictment be thrown out if didn’t have evidence of the charge.

State grand juries on the other hand have little protection for the accused.

And the Judge who coined that phrase was a nut job and ended up in prison.

You're replying to my post #113 "I...SMELL...BACON!!!", which comes from a Beggin' Strips dog treat commercial, not a Judge...

He claims he makes money trading the money he got for getting his limbs blown off.

It’s possible.

I missed out on over $400k in about a week on TSLA because I didnt let my options ride until Friday after they announced the split.

I can’t even look at how much I missed out on..I will not get over this for awhile.

However, it appears there is communication that shows he knew what he was doing was wrong and tried to cover it up.

They should have watched Goodfellas.

The only thing that stinks here is so-called conservatives piling on here in support of the corrupt Democrat coupists at SDNY.

I have called them a number of things, but never conservative.

I’m not jumping in to defend Okeydoker, but from my very limited experience with financial crimes prosecution, it’s all on paper and they have it.

I’m sympathetic to the Build The Wall cause, and maybe there’s an explanation, but the docs point to statements made like, “every penny goes to the wall!” And that can get you in trouble.

The fact remains...

With the Dirty Emmet Sullivan "collusion with dirty prosecutors" shenanigans being fully exposed [AK Senator Ted Stevens and Michael Flynn], I think it's high time we just agree that Federal prosecutors are dirty until proven clean, don't you?*

*Forgot to mention the dirty Federal prosecutin' in the Oregon Malheur and Nevada Bundy cases...

Nothing is ever that easy when the Feds set their sights on you. Or, haven’t you been paying attention for the last 4 years? Do the names, President Donald Trump, General Flynn, Carter Page, etc...not ring a bell with you?

It's ten weeks before the election, and EVERYONE knows the name "Steve Bannon".

Enough said...

There are plenty of shenanigans in prosecutions.

I am half convinced that the twitter poster who said Cummings, Rosenstein, and the Judge are connected via the sons arrest is actually not B.S.

It is possible that the Prosecutors just made up the texts from this guy who was involved in shell game money laundering...but I doubt it.

Feel free to tell me where any intelligent person would not think this shows proof.

Only intelligent people who are willfully remaining ignorant of what is going on. Certainly, the SDNY want a scalp and they aren't spending any time look for Hillary Clinton's scalp. They want Bannon for obvious reasons. Unfortunately for the defendants, they have given everything that the prosecutors need. They are in deep doo doo.

I didnt see it ...but someone here said he has been hearing about this for awhile...and thinks there is something there.

The Southern District of New York is a kangaroo court, and very nearly a Star Chamber court as well.

All true, but in this case they have the law and the facts on their side. All that Bannon's team can do is to pound the table, which is what they are doing. It won't work.

I just can’t understand Bannon being stupid enough to do this.

He looks like a raging alcoholic.

Maybe that impaired his thought process.

Dont discount Kushner’s animosity for Bannon..despite what you kept seeing people say here- Claiming there was none.

Oh yes there was.

ANd Kushner will twist the knife.

Heck, he could have even instigated this investigation in some way. That would not be beneath him.

There might be exculpatory texts, also - but I doubt we would see those, at least for a few years... winking face

Tell you what - I have about eight or nine weeks to be proven wrong on what I'm going to write here:

All these lawfare moves by The Resistance to Trump smell of desperation - awareness that a MASSIVE lawfare artillery counterbarrage is coming from the Trump camp/government.

If I'm wrong, I'll come back on here and tell you that you're RIGHT.

The Trump camp almost HAS to unleash hell on the coup plotters and The Resistance - and those worms and their Media defenders are preparing an argument that "Trump is RETALIATING!!!".

Actually, if Trump unleashes too soon before the election, his counterattack will fizzle - just like the Left's Access Hollywood tapes attack fizzled.

The Democrat Media will have time to smother it, like with a pillow [to quote the great freeper Iowahawk].

Of course, Trump had a big hand in brilliantly defusing the Access Hollywood attack...
