Bill "the Bolshevik" was elected NYC mayor in 2013 by 27% of the registered electorate of NYC. So he has 1 more year to go. I seem to recall reading on FR that of the 5 NYC borough municipal councils, elected homosexuals dominate 4 of the 5 councils. Can someone from the area disprove or confirm my fuzzy memory?

Who wants to visit NYC. I was in Manhattan three years ago. We stayed in a half million dollar apartment. The only way to regulate temperature was to open/close window — they are so green in NYC. The sidewalks were strewn with trash — bagged trash. Someone threw a bag out a window as I was walking by. We were there to see the 9/11 memorial...which was ok. Never going back.

The mayor was asked if the city was in a death spiral, and he said that he spoke to someone who is "successful in real estate" and is a proud New Yorker.
Yeah, A.K.A. De Blasio loves success in real estate.
