I heard yesterday - but don’t recall who said it - that if the election is not decided by January 20, then the sitting President BECOMES the Speaker of the House.
Your scenario makes more sense.
But the Republicans / President Trump should have his attorneys out there NOW trying for injunctions against the mail in vote fraud machines and then have attorneys lined up for the November 4 battles.
And find out what happens if there is no clearcut victory by January 20 because that’s where I think this is going.
At 12:15 on January 20, with no new President in place and Nancy Pelousy holding down the fort, China storms across the Taiwan Strait.

I’m just trying to figure out what would make someone blurt out such things on air. Hubris?
Don’t waste your money until you find out which ones whose election were supported by Soros’ decade-long “state Secretaries of State” program, for just this purpose.
The state Secretaries of State are the ones who have final say over the counting of ballots, such as throwing out all absentee ballots from deployed military, or other Republican strongholds.
As of January 20, the term is over and the new term begins.
Most of us who were former democrats know how democrats do voter fraud.
For example Democrats do NOT vote the dead - they VOTE THE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T SHOW UP TO VOTE - (the dead are an accidental by-product of that style of voter fraud.)
If the FBI wasn't a corrupt bunch of criminals they could seed the voter rolls with fake names and see if those non-people 'voted'... then arrest the people behind that fraud. Same here... the FBI COULD catch the criminals IF THEY WANTED to...
They know that they can say and do anything no matter how outrageous or violent, secure in the knowledge that no one will call them on it.
They feel confident of victory, and they have no need to hide any longer.
And I heard that if the election cannot be settled in time, the Speaker of the House will be Acting President.

Republican workers should bend all 4 corners of every ballot. A small weapon to battle just one avenue of fraud, but we should use every weapon at our disposal to fight back.
