I am sure the judge is defining “Peaceful Protest” to include murder, arson, looting and destruction. It was long ago determined judicially that burning the American Flag was a Free Speech right. All else necessarily follows. Burning businesses, looting, and shooting people are guaranteed Free Speech Rights.
Open a Free Speech Zone in the Judges Neighborhood and force the protestors there.
When so called protesters know there are no costs to their crimes, they are emboldened to become even more aggressive and violent. These protesters have shown ‘they give cover’ for the violent and criminal ones without batting an eye.

Chad Wolfe should say right, it would be hypocrisy not to apply this order to federal police and order a stand-down in the vicinity of the Detroit federal court house. With a judicial order like this we can no longer protect judicial lives and property from mob violence.
Detroit has not had the troubles of other cities because the police chief and mayor are in lock step on this.
Peaceful protests are ok.
You step out of line and they are going to land on you like a ton o' bricks.
And many of the residents of Detroit carry. Do not mess with them. They will shoot.
One of the most successful tactics by terrorists is to mix innocents in with the combatants. If the innocents were not there, there would be no problem. But as long as they have this fantasy that they are doing something productive by protesting about something that has no discourse, then they are establishing themselves as collateral damage and through their stupidity they are causing as much harm by shielding the terrorists as the terrorists could accomplish if they were there in real numbers.
And outside of stupidity, if anyone with enough electricity in their brains to keep there arms and legs moving would just observe that there is no discussion about this problem....just harm. Then they would stay home and contact their congress folks and ask them to talk, not protect and something would get accomplished. But the US people will never back down to terrorists without a fight for themselves and their families. So the pain continues...

Can someone define when a peaceful protester turns “not peaceful.”
I think there are some folks who need to understand that.
The mayor (Mike Duggan) backs the police chief. Both of them are democrats because you can not take office in Detroit as anything else but they both have some smarts.
