I gree that Trump would not lose a vote with a Snowden pardon. But I also think he would gain some libertarian votes. For sure. Would be a net positive IMO. Plus it’s the right thing to do. Snowden risked it all for the Constitution. He’s a hero.
Voting for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen is pretty much the same thing.
I do NOT see Gary Johnson as a Libertarian I see Rand Paul as a Libertarian!! I was astounded to see libertarians accept Gary Johnson as their candidate I saw Gary Johnson as a HUGE LIB!!!
If Julian Assange agreed to give up who gave him the DNC emails I would pardon him if possible...
“Why would a person in any sensible mindset NOT vote for Trump?
I could not agree more. The man is not thinking in a rational manner.
Hell no, I am a libertarian.
Leave me alone.
I love this Country because of our Constitution, second only to the Bible as the greatest document ever written.
When a true libertarian says, "Leave me alone", we mean stay outta my bedroom, stay away from my choices of getting high, don't try to impose your will on mine.
Your freedom of speech does not take my freedom of speech away, and no one has to listen.
I consider myself a libertarian, but I would never vote for someone running AS a Libertarian - it just seems like a waste of a vote.
Also, the politicians that run as Libertarians often dont appeal to me for some reason. I did not like Gary Johnson - not sure why.
One exception was when Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian in 1988 - I liked him a lot, and would have much preferred him to Bush - but I still voted for Bush so as not to waste my vote.
Likewise, in 2008 and 2012, when Ron Paul ran as a Republican, I would have been VERY happy if he had won the Republican primary instead of the Republican turds, McCain and Romney, that beat him.
Ron Pauls and Rand Pauls brand of libertarianism has made them stricter Constitutional conservatives - even to the point of pissing off a lot of conservative FReepers over the years - certainly the Neocons.
But I think history has proved them mostly right. Right about the Iraq war. Right about foreign aid. Right about the Patriot Act. Right about the Neocons. Right about civil liberties in general.
Im very grateful that President Trump has turned out to have a libertarian streak as well, and he seems to have a lot of respect for Rand Paul.
Seriously, if the author requires that? He can go jump in a lake.
Yes those very crypto-liberal dopes
Rather Trump legalize pot (ugh) than pardon a real traitor
(D) style to attract those losers
Given what govt spying on civilians got for Trump, he should all the more be in favor of a pardon. Now if Snowden had passed anything over to foreign govts that would be a different matter. But he says he didn’t.
We would have a radical President if it wasn’t for Trump.
AND Assange. (if we can get him here)
Snowden doesn’t deserve a pardon, he deserves a death sentence.

“Why would a person in any sensible mindset NOT vote for Trump?”
To SEND A MESSAGE*, idiot.
*the message being that the person wants the US to become a Third World country.
He is in the Libertarian Party. He is not Republican.
I think Trump should pardon both Snowden and Assnge.
What a waste of a vote to vote for a Libertarian. Most Trump supporters have a libertarian bent anyway.
Yep. People died because of Snowden.
Agreed. Trump should pardon Snowden. I wouldn’t object to a pardon for Assange either. The deep state and feral government in general thrive on secrecy.
I favor a pardon for Snowden. Just think Trump should wait until after the election.
