I only met ONE company in my whole career with no backups.

Here’s a surprise: Their software was all jacked-up and couldn’t be fixed. And there were no backups to reload and start over.

Here’s another surprise: They got 2 ransomware viruses. Because they had NO anti-virus software. And no backups for that, either.

And the idiot manager of the place got mad when you told him what they were doing wrong.

It was obvious to me that I was not going to be allowed to continue there. So I just quit.

The VP in home office was pretty much on board with what I said. But it made no difference.

I gave it a shot knowing it was a huge risk. Didn’t pay off. I had no idea there were no backups because it’s such a standard practice, I didn’t think to even ask that. It was something I never dreamed that could happen in the 21st century.

I just watched part of the replay of Lou Dobbs tonight, and he was scathing in his denunciation of Mitch McConnell. In particular, Mconnell’s advice to GOP Senators that they could distance themselves and their campaigns from President Trump. He then went through about six GOP Senate races where the Dems were significantly ahead or only slightly behind in states where Trump had performed much better. The conclusion was that Mitch was making a historic mistake and likely cost the GOP the Senate.
