I don’t watch all that much local news but local Fox is still citing the ‘latest book’ and I have yet to hear them mention Fauxi’s remarks.
You can ask the ‘average’ JB fan how they could possibly vote for Biden, even leading with ‘I know you don’t like PDJT but how can you vote for that man hiding in his basement’ and the response is more than likely going to be that YOU are making it up, they have seen nothing about it.

That kind of a response just cements the fact that he was. If he wasn't it would be something to vehemently deny as it indicates the candidate is not capable of responding to questions with his own views and ideas.
A “no” answer would have eliminated any nagging worries I have.
